Builder gel and BIAB are often mentioned together, but a builder gel service does not automatically use a BIAB-branded product. If a particular brand matters to you, ask the salon which product it uses before booking.
The published iNAILS enhancement menu lists Builder Gel. It does not name a specific BIAB product. Please call (843) 482-0203 to confirm current product availability.
What is BIAB?
BIAB, or Builder In A Bottle, is a product name from The GelBottle. The manufacturer describes its builder gels as products for overlays and selected extension techniques. Formulas differ, so application and removal instructions must match the exact product.
For example, the manufacturer’s comparison of Original and All In One BIAB distinguishes soak-off formulas from certain file-off products. It is not accurate to assume that every builder gel can be removed the same way.
What does builder gel cost at iNAILS?
Our current menu lists a Builder Gel full set at $70 and a fill at $60. Confirm your service choice and final total before the appointment; removal, length, designs or other add-ons may affect the price. Prices are subject to change.
For comparison, the same menu lists Gel X at $70 for a full set and $60 for a fill, and Acrylic Gel/Color at $60 for a full set and $50 for a fill. The best starting point is to discuss your desired length, shape and finish with the salon.
What should you ask your technician?
- Which product and brand will be used?
- Is the appointment an overlay, an extension service or a fill?
- What maintenance and removal does that exact product require?
- What is included in the quoted price?
- Can the requested length or design be achieved with that service?
An enhancement is a cosmetic choice, not a guarantee that damaged nails will recover. The AAD advises against covering nail problems with artificial nails. Seek medical advice about persistent nail concerns.
